You can access your contract at anytime by logging into the Backstage area and clicking on 'My Contract' in the 'My Account' section. You will be able to download and consult it whenever you need it. If there ever is a change in the contract terms, you will be notified by Zimbalam.
How to distribute my music through TuneCore ?
Here is the process to follow, if you wish to distribute your music through TuneCore UK, while maximizing the continuity of your track history :
1. Create a TuneCore account
2. Upload your release(s) to TuneCore using the exact same metadata, track listing (name and order), ISRC code, and UPC code as before
3. Ensure your new TuneCore release(s) are live on stores (iTunes, Spotify, etc.) and that they are an exact duplicate of your Zimbalam release(s). Please note that we expect the release(s) to appear twice on all stores about seven (7) days after the track(s) are submitted to TuneCore
4. Two (2) days after your new release(s) go live, take down your release(s) from Zimbalam
If you follow these steps, thanks to the internal algorithms streaming and downloading platforms utilize to replace missing tracks with new ones, you will maximize the continuity of your track history.
Yes you can change your label name for each release. However, we advise you to use the same label name for each artist, it will improve their referencing.
This is the name of the person that owns the rights to the artwork, meaning the person who paid for the artwork to be created.
This is the year that the album was produced and recorded.
Some stores show the physical release date, so if you have one, you can fill this in. This field is optional so you can leave it empty.
These services only accept music of a specific genre(s), if your release is not one of these genres, you will not be able to select that service. For example, Juno only accepts Electro and Dance releases, so it is not possible to deliver a Hip Hop or Rock release to this store.

If you have to correct a release it means that when checking your release before sending to stores, we noticed that some information did not meet the specifications of the various services. Those specifications are imposed by the platforms and it's mandatory to abide by them, or your music won't be uploaded there. We ask that you correct these data, so we can deliver your music as quickly as possible.
Some stores have special rules about the tracks spelling, mostly depending on the language of the title. So sometimes, our system will automatically change the spelling so your relase will be accepted on those stores.
Yes you can. However, you must obtain permission of the producer and publisher of the original artwork used so that in case of dispute you can give us a written record of the agreement.
You can only release someone else's music if you have their consent, if you are their manager, or label for instance.
We cannot grant you a precise amount of revenues because it depends of the advertisement incomes Youtube has and clicks on the ad. So the revenues vary from a video to another, from an artist to another, depending of the buying cost of the ad, the number of view of the ad and the number of clicks on the ad. Then such as on all other stores, we give you back 90% of the royalties we get from Youtube

Your Player's display changes according the user's country (via an IP address). If an English person is using the Player, for example, all the information would be displayed in English. You can make your news and biography change according to the user's geographical location. For example, if you have an upcoming concert in England, the Player would share this information with users in England only. You can enter different languages versions of your news and gigs via 'Configure my Player' under the 'News' and 'Bio' tabs

Thanks to these fingerprints, Youtube will be able to detect all videos using one of your tracks as audio, your videos or someone else videos (for example if somebody uses your music as background on a video of it's vacation pictures...) and once the videos are detected, Youtube put ads on it. And you'll earn revenues from theses ads
Once we have delivered your audio fingerprints ot Youtube. Zimbalam claims for you the ownership of the audio content of each video using your tracks. Here are the consequences : - Each time you are going to upload a video using one of the tracks you ask us to monetize, you will receive a notification from Youtube called "Copyright infrigement notification". It is normal ! This notification means that from now on your music is monetized on Youtube by Zimbalam. Please do not contest this notification, because if you do so, you take the risk that your music won't be monetized. - This notification is also sent to all Youtube users who are using your music on a video. If you know some of these people, tell them about the notification and ask them to not contest it. - In the case we deliver fingerprints to Youtube and there are already video using your content on Youtube, they will also receive the Notification. It's normal, it means that Youtube Robots (named Content ID) that analyse all Youtube content to find match between audio and video, have detected your music on these videos, and you will start to monetize on these videos. - If you just delivered your fingerprints to Youtube and you didn't receive the notification on your own video, don't worry : when you upload a video after delivering the fingerprint, Youtube detects immediatly your music. BUT, if you uploaded your video before sending your fingerprints through Zimbalam, there is a delay, the time for the Robot to come on your video and associate it to your music. If this delay is too long (more than a week), do not hesitate to contact us and send us the video (links) on which you're not monetizing, we will manually ask content ID to check your videos.
It can be several things : - One of several of your tracks don't fulfill the conditions to be distributed on Youtubes (see the previous questions) and so your fingerprints haven't been delivered to Youtube - Maybe you didn't activate advertisement on your videos. Go on your Youtube Channel to configure your advertisement settings. - Or maybe one or more of your tracks have already been claimed by yourself or somebody else and there is a conflict. If there is a conflit with somebody else, we may takedown your audio fingerprints
